About me

I graduated from the University of Houston in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and started my career in data analytics with an internship for a political campaign. Since then, I have been in pursuit of tackling some of the most interesting – and convicting – problems within this ever-growing field.

Description

The work I've done in the past mostly consists of researching relevant datasets and then cleaning the data in Excel before importing it to Microsoft SQL SSMS or Microsoft Access to filter or summarize relevant information that stakeholders expect.

Data that's worth 1000 rows

This part contains a seperate repository of Tableau visualizations involving county data in the field of politics which are available on Tableau Public. Some of this work was performed on request for various campaigns. (details).

Previous Projects

I've had the chance to create or be a part of strategy in the projects that I've been involved. The most recent being the data migration of multiple customer interfaces into Salesforce. This was accomplished using Microsoft SQL to backup the database from a cloud server and querying the interface to export into a spreadsheet for cleaning criteria. This was loaded into Salesforce under our organization's cloud.

My first tenure as a data analyst was an internship with a political campaign. While there, I constructed a strategy for canvassing using Excel and provided a form template created in Access so that voter responses would be recorded to manage data more efficently. The result is saved time and reduced dependence on outside resources.
